Basic things to do FIRST

Before you ever receive a copy of Brightstar, there are a few things you can do just to start with.

The Critical Need

At the beginning of this process, there is one really critical need–more people to join the book launch team.


I plan to start sending out copies of Brightstar immediately, but you don’t have to wait for a copy to start helping.

For now, please share one of my Rumble or YouTube videos on your social media (or if you’re not a social media type, ask anyone you think might be interested to join the book launch team). Realistically, I need at least a hundred (preferably closer to five hundred) people to help flood the internet when Launch Week comes.

Starting now, I also need ideas. For the next six months, I’m going to be talking to as many podcasters and interviewers and bookstores and libraries as I can. Who should I talk to? Who would be interested in Brightstar (or even just in talking to me about a solution-oriented approach to the madness the world is descending into.) What convention or event could I speak at? What about after that? (What you’ve actually agreed to)

What I need you to do in preparation for launch week is this:

1. Read the book. (I’ll be sending you a copy through the mail ASAP).

2. While it’s fresh in your mind, write an honest review and save it somewhere. (7-10 sentences minimum.)

3. Share the news with anyone you think might be interested. The links to my short videos are above. Feel free to use them to show people who I am and what I’m doing. If you think it will resonate with others, spread it far and wide.


I really can’t emphasize this enough. Word of mouth is really the *only* way to sell a book. The best value you can provide to me in return for the copy I’m sending you is to talk about Brightstar as early and as often as you’re willing.

What about Launch Week?

When April rolls around, it will be time to start posting reviews to places like Amazon and Barnes and Noble. I’ll make up a more complete list and send it out as I learn more.

That and a coordinated social media blitz (just letting people know the book is out and available when the time comes) will be the most critical component of my book launch.


Again, I have essentially zero marketing budget. That means your help matters tremendously.
